AUSTIN, Texas, June 15, 2021– Repairify, Inc., a portfolio company of Kinderhook Industries, LLC, announced today the acquisition of Mobile Tech RX, the industry-leading business technology platform for automotive reconditioning businesses. This marks the twelfth add-on acquisition for Repairify and Kinderhook’s 112th automotive-related transaction. Financial terms of the transaction were not disclosed.
Today, there are over 4,000 companies and 6,000 active users leveraging Mobile Tech RX’s application for glass repair, detailing, paintless dent repair (“PDR”), wheel and rim repair, paint touch up, window tint, interior repair, PPF and vinyl repairs. The strategic partnership with Repairify will help the auto reconditioning industry continue to scale and become more profitable, which has been a long-held mission of Mobile Tech RX.
Mobile Tech RX will leverage synergies and existing products in the Repairify ecosystem to further develop its technology and provide a more robust business technology offering to the automotive reconditioning industry. The Company will also continue to advance its machine learning and AI technology to create instant, “smart” price estimates, and build out a marketplace and dispatch functionality that will connect technicians from around the country with jobs in their area.
